So, anyone know how the Cubs are doing so far this season?

The Cubs are doing great so far! They're 15-6, and they just put away the Mets pretty handily in their last series. Who knows, maybe this could be their Comeback Season after all...
I mean, it's been 100 years. We MUST be due for a win by now!

I sure hope so! After 100 years, they do deserve it!

Hi Jennifer! What are some of your favorite books, whether sports-related or not?

Actually, most of my favorite books aren't sports related, now that I think about it! Most aren't YA either, though I love To Kill a Mockingbird and Where the Red Fern Grows.
I read a lot of literary fiction for my job. I love The Amazing Adventures of Kavlier and Clay by Michael Chabon, The Road by Cormac McCarthy, and The History of Love by Nicole Krauss. There are some really good works of fiction coming up this summer and fall too, that I've been reading -- The 19th Wife by David Ebershoff, America America by Ethan Canin, American Wife by Curtis Sittenfeld. All great ones!
So, I'm kind of all across the board on this one...and not all that sporty!

To Kill a Mockingbird is my favooorite! And Where the Red Fern Grows made me sob.
I'll have to check into your other ones!
So do you have a different job, other than writing?

Yes, I'm also an Associate Editor at Random House, but working on literary fiction, not children's books. So it's nice to have a couple different perspectives!
